I have the same two leading the race. I would pick Trent over RG3 only due to the fact that Alabama has no passing game. Defensive coordinators focus their entire scheme on one thing stopping Trent Richardson. So him being able to pile up 15 plus hundred yards rushing with a 6 plus yard average in the SEC is astonishing in itself. again I will not be upset if RG3 wins it, but Richardson would have my vote.

I think momentum is building for RG3 as SEC fatigue is weighing down the hopes of Trent Richardson. If Griffin wins, I don't think you will hear much negativity, if he doesn't, the wolves will be howling. He is the most deserving player this year and should make the speech on Saturday.

RG3 will win it!

Richardson's stats can't touch Ball's. Additionally, the Honeybadger & Richardson to a degree will split the SEC votes. Luck's last 2 nationally televised games were subpar (for Luck). I think Ball would win it hands down if Wisconsin were undefeated. Case Keenum & Houston flopped mightily in their conference championship. I agree that Barkley is an afterthought because USC is on probation. Lastly, Kellen Moore, well he plays for Boise, enough said.

So congrats even though you made a stupid remark after your last game that makes you seem like you have a "big head" I think you're our next Heisman Trophy Winner!

I think that the only team that can beat Alabama is LSU and the only team that can beat LSU is Alabama. Of course, either of them can beat themselves against any opponent, but they are head and shoulders the two best teams in the country. In my opinion, the next tier only consists of Oregon and USC and neither one of them is an option for the BCS game. Of the 3 one loss teams other than Alabama with a shot to play LSU, I think Virginia Tech is the most comparable match-up. After watching OSU lose to Iowa State, I believe them to be too porous defensively and one-dimensional on offense. Besides, Oklahoma may make them moot by the end of the day Saturday. Stanford just doesn't have the team speed on either side to match up with the elite SEC teams. VaTech plays pretty salty defense, has a premiere runner, plays Beamer Ball as always on special teams and I have been impressed by the development of their qb. So if they can beat Clemson, and they should, I wouldn't mind seeing them get their shot at the Bengal Tigers. It should be an interesting decision this weekend.

"OSU’s argument will be that it lost an away game in overtime to a conference opponent and still won the Big XII and that Alabama lost a home game in regulation..."

Alabama lost in OT also, not in regulation. The difference being, of course, is that Alabama lost to a ranked opponent.
